Boatbound

Helped launch and scale a peer-to-peer boat rental marketplace for everything from kayaks to catamarans and yachts. I began with frontend search and filtering, then moved deeper into the Rails backend during a major application rewrite.

• —Shipped two product launches as the team grew from 3 to 14 people
• —Helped the marketplace become the world’s largest boat rental site; the company later became Boatsetter

Animated hero background originally designed and developed by Matt Johnston.
